A custom pet painting begins with a real moment, not a stock image. If you are looking for a pet watercolor painting in Durham, I make original hand-painted watercolours from the photographs you choose. Your pet's expression, the way they sit or the look you know so well gives the painting its character.
Choose the photo that means something
A special photograph is probably already hiding on your phone. It could be an ordinary afternoon with your dog, a quiet portrait of your cat or a favourite horse photo. Instead of letting it disappear in a camera roll, upload it to have that memory painted and displayed on a wall where it deserves to shine.
A clear, well-lit photo lets me see the face and important markings. It does not need to be a formal pose. Often the image that feels most like your pet is one you took yourself.
A personal gift with a story behind it
For birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries or a thank-you to someone who loves their animal, the photo can already be in your hands. Choosing their own dog, cat or horse makes the present more thoughtful than a ready-made animal picture. It says you remembered the moment they wanted to keep.
These examples show dogs, but I paint other pets from customer photographs too. Each commission is an original watercolour, not a print of the photograph.
